The Artist
Like many people of my generation I was captivated watching Bob Ross and Bill Alexander paint on TV. As a young person, this inspiration led me to paint still life and landscape themes using traditional oil painting methods.
I later switched to wet-on-wet method painting of landscapes and seascapes.
On average, I now paint 1-3 new pieces per month and add to the gallery accordingly.
Colors and themes are based upon mood but each piece is always made with love.
The Art
I use Bob Ross paint or equivalent thick paints such as Gamblin 1980 and Winsor & Newton.
All paintings are created using the wet-on-wet method on standard stretched canvas. Once sufficiently cured, each painting gets a single application of Gamvar satin finish.
